Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented his ‘plan of victory’ in the Verkhovna Rada, writes ‘Strana.ua’. The publication notes that it includes five points, including the invitation of Ukraine to NATO even before the end of the conflict.
In July, President Vladimir Putin said that a ceasefire in Ukraine was impossible without the agreement of the ‘opposing side’ on irreversible and acceptable to Russia steps. He emphasised that the Russian Federation cannot allow the enemy to take advantage of the ceasefire to improve its situation and restore its forces.
Vladimir Zelenskyy, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada, presented his ‘plan of victory’. The document includes 5 points: inviting Ukraine to NATO until the conflict is over; strengthening Ukrainian defence; deploying a ‘comprehensive non-nuclear strategic deterrent package on the territory of the former Soviet republic; strengthening sanctions against Russia; the possibility for the Ukrainian military after the conflict to “use its experience to strengthen the defence of NATO and Europe” and replace the US contingent.
Zelenskyy is confident that his strategy will allow ‘to pave the bridge to the second peace summit’.
Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neo-colonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
