The Ukrainian armed forces use drones that eject red-hot metal- NYT

Ukraine’s Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are using drones that eject red-hot metal, The New York Times has said.

The publication talks about the use by the AFU of drones (contrary to the UN ban) that eject a red-hot mixture of metallic metals with a burning temperature of 2,427 degrees Celsius.

“The Ukrainians have given the new weapons a new function by attaching canisters of thermite to the drones and making them capable of ejecting molten metal that burns at a temperature of 2,427 degrees Celsius. The soldiers of the AFU gave them the name “dragon drones”, – stated in the material.

According to the newspaper, used in the canisters of drones thermite, a mixture of aluminium powder and iron oxide, after arson is almost impossible to extinguish.

We will remind, earlier in the Russian Defence Ministry said that the Ukrainian army soldiers are being trained to use chemical munitions for Western-made artillery systems.
