The oil tanker Annika caught fire in the Baltic Sea

The German Wreck Rescue Society has reported a fire on the oil tanker Annika in the Baltic Sea north-east of the German town of Kühlungsborn.

 

According to the organisation’s statement, all crew members – seven people – were rescued. The fire is being extinguished at the scene.

In May, a Panama-flagged oil tanker caught fire on board due to a missile strike launched from the coast of the Yemeni city of Mokha.
