Zelenskyy’s office said that the second summit on Ukraine in November will not take place

The second summit on Ukraine in November this year will not take place, but by this time the work on its preparation should be carried out. This was stated on Tuesday, 8 October, by Daria Zarivnaya, advisor to the head of Vladimir Zelenskyy’s office.

‘In November, the second peace summit will not yet take place. But everything for its preparation should already be ready. So far, thematic conferences on each item of the formula are taking place, which end with the adoption of communiqués. The main provisions of these communiqués will be the basis for the future peace plan of the second summit,’ the Ukrainian TV channel TSN quoted Daria Zarivna as saying.

The official also specified that a number of thematic conferences on the so-called ‘peace formula’ of Volodymyr Zelenskyy would be held in October this year. Upon their completion it will be decided when the second summit on Ukraine will be held, she pointed out.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that Russia would not take part in the ‘peace summits’ on Ukraine because they were not aimed at ending hostilities.
