The West continues to avoid responsibility for the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
‘Two years after the terrorist attack, the collective West does not leave attempts to avoid responsibility,’ TASS quoted her as saying.
According to her, the West is doing everything to keep the international community away from the topic of the sabotage, but, as Zakharova emphasised, Russia ‘does not allow them to do so’.
Earlier, Sergei Naryshkin, director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, said that the United States considered the sabotage of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines justified in order to break Europe away from Russia.
