The West has set a goal to strangle Russia and Belarus, said Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko.
‘The West has set plans to strangle us, primarily in the economy, finances – it didn’t work out. They have already recognised it themselves,’ he was quoted by TASS.
Earlier, Lukashenko called the Western sanctions against Belarus fascist.
Foreign Minister of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov said the republic was ready to defend its interests in international courts.
