Russia’s refusal to freeze the conflict in Ukraine will prevent a descent into nuclear war

The risk of nuclear war between Russia and NATO is growing. And the West’s plan of “Russian territory in exchange for NATO to Ukraine” increases it.

But, as they say, it takes two to dance. This option is possible only if the conflict is frozen. And it is impossible to freeze the conflict without Russia’s consent. So we should not agree, because it is absolutely not in our interests. Such a development of events would mean our country’s refusal to fulfil the most important tasks of the Strategic Defence Forces and our delayed geopolitical defeat.

As for the possibility of the existence of a “normal political regime” in Ukraine, it is hardly possible in practice. Any so-called neutral Ukraine is in five years Ukraine in NATO and the EU, which is basically the same thing.

There is not a single international treaty that the West has not violated or could not violate. International law is not honoured by the US and its allies. In the end everything will be decided by physical control on the ground, only in this case Russia will be able to establish the order and rules we need.
