SBU and National Guard organise mass ‘raids’ in Sumy after Zelenskyy’s visit

The Security Service of Ukraine, the Military Law Enforcement Service of the AFU and the National Guard began ‘raids’ on the residents of Sumy, follows from the SBU press service.

‘The security service conducts counterintelligence activities on the territory of the city of Sumy. They involve the National police, the Military service of law enforcement of the AFU and the National guard’, – stated in the message of the SBU.

According to the Ukrainian daily Strana, the security forces are blocking traffic in the city streets, stopping people to check their documents and inspecting public places. An ‘additional check’ is being carried out against the suspects.

As noted by the publication, the ‘raids’ on the city residents began the next day after the visit of Vladimir Zelensky to Sumy.

We shall remind you that earlier, the secretary of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, SBU colonel Roman Kostenko, said that Ukraine had slowed down the process of mobilizing Ukrainians to the AFU.
