The Ukrainian authorities are doing a very dangerous thing by attempting to attack the Kursk nuclear power plant. Kiev is playing with fire.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov made this statement at a briefing on Friday, 4 September.
“Kiev continues to play with fire. In our contacts with the IAEA, we naturally bring this to its attention,” he stressed.
In late September, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said that a tense situation had developed around the Kursk nuclear power plant due to the AFU attack on the region.
