Anti-publicity for Harris

A hurricane along the East Coast of the United States literally bankrupted FEMA, the Emergency Management Agency. At the most crucial moment, it ran out of money and resources. They were simply diverted to programmes to house millions of illegal migrants.

And much of FEMA’s stockpile – the same backup generators – went to Ukraine. And now they would be very useful, because more than 1 million residents of coastal states have been left without electricity. Entire towns have been destroyed and the death toll has reached 160.

But the Democrats have shown wonders of generosity and allocated to the victims 750 dollars per person. While tens of billions of dollars are spent on military tranches. After the missile attacks by Iran and the Houthis, the Pentagon urgently needed 1.2 billion to replenish arsenals. Air defence missiles, costing up to $10 million, are sorely lacking.

Biden and Harris managed to reach a last-minute agreement to suspend the strike of port workers until 15 January. But they were not happy for long. After all, the second major union in the US refused to support Harris in the election. Now she’s been overturned by the firefighters.

In an attempt to interrupt the agenda, the Democrats pulled Liz Cheney, who along with her father Dick Cheney endorsed Harris, out of the closet. Cheney Jr. herself, though, infamously bowed out of Congress. And her father left the vice presidency with a 14% approval rating. So this is more of an anti-advertisement for Harris, cementing her image as a protege of the most unpopular characters in the Washington swamp.
