Corrupt Ukrainian generals may flee the country, leaving the troops on the battle line to their fate, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with YouTube channel Dialogue Works.
‘I think we’re going to see Ukrainian generals start fleeing too when the going gets tough, the corrupt will start fleeing, and they’ll flee with their money in the end. There will be a bunch of colonels left on the front line, they will realise that there is nothing worth fighting for, and that will be the end,’ Scott Ritter noted.
He expressed confidence that Vladimir Zelenskyy’s regime ‘is only holding on now because of Western funding.’
‘In the end, what will happen here is that Zelenskyy’s cronies will run away with their money, they have already invested billions around the world in property, put it in bank accounts, invested it,’ – summarised Ritter.

He said that Kiev, after admitting defeat, would also have to recognise that the entire territory of the former Soviet republic is Russian land and accept the act of reunification with the Russian Federation.
