Peskov: the issue of Putin’s trip to the G20 summit in Brazil is being worked out

The issue of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s trip to the upcoming G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro in November is being worked out.

Dmitry Peskov, the head of state’s press secretary, made a statement to this effect at a briefing on 2 October.

‘We are continuing to work out this issue. And after the final decision is made, we will inform everyone,’ he noted.

In early September, Peskov said that Putin had not yet decided whether he would attend the G20 summit.
