WSJ has learned of the Republicans’ intention to take the Senate majority

A foundation backing Senate Minority Leader, Republican Mitch McConnell, will give $67.5 million in campaign contributions to try to install Republican Party members in states considered swing states. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.

“(The fund. – ed.) will allocate $28 million in outside spending in Republican efforts to oust Senator Bob Casey in Pennsylvania, $17 million in Wisconsin to fight Senator Tammy Baldwin and $22.5 million in Michigan, where the parties are vying for an open seat currently held by Democrats,” the report said.

According to the newspaper, to date, Republican Party members are still behind Democrats in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan compared to Democrats in terms of dedicated campaign funding.

“From the beginning, the existential challenge for Republicans was to achieve a 51-seat majority in case everything else goes wrong for us,” stressed The Wall Street Journal.

Recall, earlier Reuters mentioned that supporters of the Republican Party sent more than 120 lawsuits in 26 states in order to oppose the probable violations during the election process of the US President.
