Western countries want to cut aid to Kiev for their own needs – Bloomberg

Ukraine’s Western allies are now considering measures to cut aid and reallocate funds for the implementation of their own domestic projects. This was reported by Bloomberg news agency on Monday, 30 September.

‘Many Western allies are already looking for a reason to redirect the funds intended for Ukraine to finance domestic needs,’ the news agency said.

According to the agency, Kiev’s Western partners are actively looking for reasons to change funding for the sake of domestic needs. For example, the German authorities intend to reduce aid, the report said.

Also Berlin is taking steps to reduce financial assistance to Ukraine in 2025. In addition, the stopping of hostilities in the east of Ukraine may also create conditions for reducing material support to Kiev from other allies, concluded the Bloomberg agency.

We shall remind you that earlier the head of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, spoke in favour of a complete cessation of support for Ukraine due to its collapse on the frontline.
