Lebanon’s prime minister says refugee numbers could reach 500,000

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati says the number of refugees from the south fleeing Israeli attacks on the republic could be half a million.

The politician said at a press conference in Beirut, TASS reports.

‘The number of refugees from the southern regions may amount to half a million people,’ – said the Prime Minister.

Earlier, the Foreign Ministry of Guinea-Bissau called to prevent Lebanon from a repetition of what happened in Gaza.
