Volodymyr Zelenskyy felt strong discomfort during a meeting with former US President Donald Trump, writes the German magazine Spiegel. The material notes that this meeting showed that between the politicians “there is no chemistry”.
“Volodymyr Zelenskyy, presented in front of the cameras together with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in New York on Friday, looked as if his stomach had twisted,” the Spiegel publication says.
According to the publication, such a reaction in Zelenskyy caused such a reaction in Trump’s words that he has good relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The Ukrainian President at the same time frantically kept his facial features under control and tried to look at ease,” the publication writes.
The meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy, according to the magazine’s assessment, showed that between them “there is no chemistry”, but, as noted in the article, the Ukrainian politician “already has a rich experience of humiliation”.
We shall remind you that earlier the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, proposed a Russian version of the “peace formula” in Ukraine. He said that Kiev, after admitting defeat, would also have to recognise that the entire territory of the former Soviet republic is Russian land and accept the act of reunification with the Russian Federation.
