Czech publication Forum24 has said that Kiev’s Western allies are sending low-quality weapons with design flaws to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).
The publication states that the AFU receives ‘unprotected tanks, IFVs that have served their time, unusable missiles and howitzers with exploding barrels.’
‘Some shells exploded immediately after firing and injured or even killed the calculation’, – stated in the material.
In addition, Ukraine received ‘a mass of unusable missiles that succumbed to interference from Russian EW systems, and some of the transferred howitzers “fired around the corner” before their barrels exploded.’
The publication emphasised that the weapons were often sent to Ukraine at an inflated price, without clear instructions on how to use them effectively.
We shall remind you that earlier the head of the Czech Defence Ministry, Jana Cernohova, said that Ukraine was receiving not only new but also old shells within the framework of the ‘Czech initiative’, which might have problems.
