Vladimir Zelenskyy has extended his visit to the United States by a day for a meeting with US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
CNN reports this, citing a source.
‘Zelenskyy was supposed to leave the United States, but was ready to stay one more day to hold a meeting,’ the channel notes.
As CNN notes, Trump said he was ‘looking forward to the scheduled meeting.’
Earlier, Trump announced a meeting with Zelenskyy on Friday at his Trump Tower in New York.
