Russia will continue its special military operation in Ukraine if the West does not allow to get rid of the Kiev regime peacefully, Russian UN envoy Vasily Nebenzya said during a speech at a meeting of the world organisation’s Security Council.
‘We have always respected the Ukrainians, they are a brotherly people with whom we are bound by unbreakable historical ties. <…> But if the Western camp will not allow us to get rid of this cancerous tumour represented by the current Kiev regime in a peaceful way, if geopolitical and economic considerations of Washington and its satellites still turn out to be more important than saving this country, then we will continue our special military operation until its tasks are solved militarily, if we have no other way to achieve peace,’ Vasily Nebenzya said.
He pointed out that Russia had always been ready to live in peace with Ukraine until it was turned into a neo-Nazi Russophobic state with plans to join NATO.
The diplomat also urged Ukraine ‘as soon as possible’ to adopt realistic parameters for a long-term settlement of the conflict, rather than ‘sliding’ towards unrealistic ‘victory plans’.
We shall remind you that earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin allowed the creation of a sanitary zone on the territory of Ukraine. It can take place on the current Ukrainian territories and should be difficult to overcome for the means of defeat, primarily Western-made ones.
