Biden administration cancels Georgian PM’s invitation to a reception

US President Joe Biden’s administration has cancelled an invitation to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze for a UN Association reception due to alleged anti-democratic actions and misinformation.

This is reported by the Mtavari archi TV channel.

‘The Biden administration cancelled Prime Minister Kobakhidze’s invitation and… refused to meet with the Georgian delegation because of the Georgian government’s anti-democratic actions, disinformation and negative rhetoric towards the US and the West,’ the US Embassy in Georgia pointed out to the TV channel.

Earlier, Kobakhidze said that Georgia might reconsider its attitude towards the USA because of the sanctions.
