Turkey has differences with the US administration on national security issues, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.
The Turkish president arrived on a visit to New York to attend the UN General Assembly.
‘We still have disagreements with the American administration on some issues related to our national security,’ Turkish state agency Anadolu quoted Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying.
In addition, he noted that ‘whoever becomes President of the United States after the next presidential election, Ankara’s view of America and high-level dialogue in relations will not change.’
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Turkey had officially submitted a petition to join the BRICS interstate association.
