Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will hold talks with Vladimir Zelenskyy, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and leaders of several other countries as part of his visit to the United States to attend the UN General Assembly.
‘Erdogan will hold bilateral meetings with many world leaders and will receive most of them at the Turkish House, a symbol of Turkish diplomacy in New York,’ Sabah reported.
According to the newspaper, the Turkish leader will also meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, UN Secretary General António Guterres, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and others.
Earlier, Erdogan said he was ready to meet with Syria’s head Bashar al-Assad.
The Turkish president also noted that Ankara has disagreements with the US on national security issues.
