Smirnov: 268 people were found during the liberation of Korenevsky district in Kursk region
Kursk Region Governor Alexei Smirnov said that 268 people were found and released during the liberation of settlements in the Korenevsky district of the region by Russian troops.
‘During the liberation of a number of settlements in Korenevsky district of the region, 268 people were found, 118 of them were wanted at the request of relatives,’ he said in his Telegram.
At the same time, the head of the region stressed that such a good result was achieved largely due to the well-coordinated work of the structures responsible for security.
Earlier in Kursk region found more than 500 people missing after forced evacuation from border areas.
