Russia expects an international arbitration ruling in its dispute with Ukraine over rights in the Black Sea, the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait to be handed down at the end of this year or early next year.
Gennady Kuzmin, head of the Russian delegation at the hearings in The Hague and Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, made the statement to journalists.
‘After the hearings, we expect a final decision at the end of this year or early next year. Because the case is very big,’ TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, Kuzmin said that the Ukrainian side’s claims over the Crimean bridge went beyond the UN convention.
