The death toll in a coal mine explosion in the city of Tebes in northeastern Iran has risen to 50.
This is reported by the Iranian news agency Tasnim.
It is specified that at least 20 more people were injured.
The Agency indicates that the explosion in the mine occurred due to the release of methane in one of the tunnels. At the time of the incident in blocks B and C of the mine were 69 people.
Earlier it was reported about 28 dead as a result of the explosion.
