The leader of Armenia’s opposition protesters, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, has issued a statement on the resumption of active struggle from 2 October demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The archbishop spoke to associates in the Armenian capital, announcing the resumption of protest actions against the course of the incumbent government of Nikol Pashinyan.
“We will resume active struggle from 2 October, gathering at 6.30 p.m. (17.30 Moscow time) in Republic Square (in Yerevan – ed.) to enter an intense and consistent phase of struggle, persistent, unstoppable, with guaranteed victory,” Bagrat Galstanyan said at the rally.
Earlier, Bagrat Galastanyan, who is leading the protests demanding the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, called on human rights activists to take under protection the citizens subjected to repression by the authorities.
