Israeli authorities did not notify the US in advance of their intention to launch airstrikes on Beirut.
John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator at the White House National Security Council, said.
‘I am not aware of any advance notifications,’ he said during a briefing.
Earlier, Lebanon’s Health Ministry said three people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut.
