Shmygal: Ukraine plans to increase its arms budget by 65 per cent in 2025

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal has said that in 2025 it is planned to allocate 65% more for armaments and military equipment for the AFU than in this year.

“The budget for armament and military equipment we propose to increase by 65%,” – wrote Shmygal in social networks.

It is noted that all taxpayers’ money will be directed to the financing of military needs.

Earlier, a member of the Verkhovna Rada, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, said that the Ukrainian parliament supported a $12bn increase in the country’s budget spending on military needs.
