Germany to approve 397 million euros military aid package for Kiev – Reuters

Germany will approve 397 million euros in additional military aid to Ukraine, Reuters reported, citing a letter of appeal from the country’s Finance Ministry.

The FRG government will allocate another package of military aid to Kiev due to the deteriorating situation of the AFU on the front.

“Given the constantly deteriorating military situation in Ukraine, there is a serious risk that Ukraine without a significant increase in material support could be defeated in the defence campaign, the unplanned need for about 397 million euros has become evident in recent weeks”, – stated in the material.

The country’s Finance Ministry called for a decision to be taken immediately so that the Federal Republic of Germany would have time to allocate aid before the end of this year, the publication said.

We shall remind you that earlier Reuters reported that Germany plans to transfer six IRIS-T SLM surface-to-air missile systems (SAMs) to Ukraine and purchase six more units for the Bundeswehr.
