The home of the CEO of BAC Consulting Kft, the company implicated in the Lebanon pager bombing case, turned out to be a gendarme barracks in Paris.
According to Bloomberg, the company’s official address in Budapest is a small post office. According to the agency, the only indication of the company’s presence there were monthly visits by its representative for correspondence.
“The building in Paris, listed as the address of the CEO of BAC, turned out to be a barracks of the French gendarmes,” the material says.
Hungarian authorities, in turn, said that BAC Consulting is a trade intermediary and does not have production or operational sites in the country.
Earlier it was reported that in Budapest convened a commission to check the Hungarian firm after the detonation of pagers in Lebanon.
