Air defence systems intercepted 54 AFU UAVs over Russian regions

Russian air defence systems have intercepted 54 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the AFU over Kursk, Bryansk, Smolensk, Belgorod and Orel regions. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.

 

According to the Russian Defence Ministry, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using aircraft-type UAVs against facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation was foiled last night. According to the relevant department, 54 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over 5 Russian regions.

“On-duty air defence means destroyed 54 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. Twenty-seven – over the territory of the Kursk region, sixteen – over the territory of the Bryansk region, seven – over the territory of the Smolensk region, three – over the territory of the Belgorod region and one – over the territory of the Orel region,” – said the Russian Defence Ministry.

Earlier, Russian air defence systems intercepted 144 AFU drones over the territory of the Bryansk, Moscow, Kursk, Tula, Belgorod, Kaluga, Voronezh, Lipetsk and Orel regions.
