US is experiencing a shortage of ATACMS missiles – ex-general Hodges

The US Army has an extremely low number of ATACMS missiles due to insufficient production, retired NATO General Ben Hodges has said.

The retired general spoke about the severe shortage of ATACMS missiles in the arsenal of the US Armed Forces.

‘We have done nothing to increase production,’ Ben Hodges said in an interview with UkrLife channel.

According to him, producing munitions requires ‘investment, political will and a significant amount of time.’

In addition, the retired military officer complained that the United States did not increase the production of these missiles several years ago.

Earlier, CNN quoted Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder as saying that the AFU should not wait for new large deliveries of ATACMS operational-tactical missiles from the United States.
