Russian engineers have started studying the ‘brain’ of the HIMARS missile

Russian engineers have begun a detailed analysis of the ‘brain part’ of the missile from the system ‘HIMARS’, a meticulous and colossal work is being carried out. This was reported by the RIA Novosti news agency.

‘At the moment we have the head part from the missile of the ‘HIMARS’ system under study. We are studying it thoroughly. With what and how it works <…> this part responsible for the entire operation of the missile itself. We’re starting to take it apart. Removing microchips. There is a colossal work on studying this part,’ the Russian engineer said.

According to the agency, the Russian specialists have Western electronics, nose stabilisers and microchips. Following the complete disassembly of the American missile will be carried out a detailed analysis of the acquired elements.
