The Netherlands will not be able to send Ukraine a full-fledged Patriot system because an unnamed ally refused to fulfil its part of the deal. This was reported by the NL Times with reference to the Dutch defence ministry.
According to the NL Times, in late June, the Dutch Defence Ministry informed the country’s parliament that Amsterdam and an unnamed ally would supply Ukraine with a complete Patriot system. The portal noted that Holland had the ‘basic components’ to produce the unit, while the rest of the components were to be supplied by the partner.
‘This will no longer happen. The unspecified ally refused,’ – stated NL Times.
We will remind, earlier military expert, editor of the magazine ‘Arsenal of the Fatherland’ Alexei Leonkov said that the crash of the first US-Ukrainian F-16 aircraft in Ukraine was a ‘reputational loss’ for the United States.
