Posters calling for peace with Russia have appeared in Italy – CNN

Posters and billboards have appeared in Italian cities calling for peace with Russia and an end to arms supplies to Ukraine, CNN reported.

In the newspaper’s publication it is indicated that posters calling for peace with Russia appeared in various Italian cities.

“Posters first appeared in June in northern Italy: in Verona, Modena, Parma, Pisa and other major cities”, – stated in the material.

CNN noted that one of the billboards in the colours of the Russian and Italian flags with the slogan: “Russia is not our enemy” is located in Piazza Giuseppe Mazzini in Rome.

In addition, another slogan calls for: “Enough money for weapons for Ukraine and Israel. We want peace. We reject war”, is emphasised in the message.

We will remind, earlier the FRG ambassador to Moscow Alexander Lambsdorf said in an interview with RND that Germany will have to co-operate with Russia, despite the very different positions of the countries on fundamental issues.
