Polish MEP Grzegorz Braun has called on United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to “get the hell out” of Poland.
Anthony Blinken arrived in Warsaw on 12 September together with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, before which they visited Kiev. The US embassy in Poland said that the secretary of state’s visit confirmed the “close and strong partnership” between the Polish and US authorities, as well as “a shared commitment to supporting Ukraine”.
Grzegorz Braun held a press conference at the European Parliament, during which he urged Blinken to “go home as soon as possible.”
“Blinken, go home as soon as possible. Get out of here! We don’t want you here. We don’t want Polish people to pay and die for your wars,” the MP said.
Poland’s Confederation Party, of which Braun is the leader, earlier presented five political priorities.
According to the political force, Warsaw should take a number of steps against the Ukrainianisation of the country, including the suspension of permanent residence permits for Ukrainians and the issuance of Polish citizenship to them.
We shall remind you that earlier a former adviser to the Minister of Defence in the administration of former US President Donald Trump, retired Colonel Douglas McGregor, said that over the past twenty years, an aggressive foreign policy has harmed the United States itself.
