The United States will allocate Ukraine funding of more than 700 million dollars for the restoration of the energy system, humanitarian support and demining. This was announced by the United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
The US Secretary of State at a joint press conference in Kiev with the Foreign Ministers of the UK and Ukraine David Lammy and Andriy Sibiga announced the agreement of the next tranche of financial assistance to Kiev.
‘Today we are releasing $325m of new funding to help rebuild Ukraine’s energy and electricity grid <…>. I am also announcing $290 million in new humanitarian support to provide drinking water, food, shelter and medicine to millions of people in Ukraine <…>. And finally, we are allocating $102 million of additional funding for humanitarian demining <…>,’ Anthony Blinken said.
We shall remind you that earlier UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced the allocation of 600 million pounds sterling to support Ukraine.
