Embassy: sanctions in the West have substituted the search for compromise in international affairs

The Russian embassy in London has spoken out about the new sanctions against Russia.

The diplomatic mission said that the West imposes sanctions by inertia in connection with various information occasions.

This is reported by RIA Novosti.

The embassy expressed regret because the sanctions have substituted for Western countries the search for mutually acceptable solutions in international affairs ‘on the basis of equality and mutual respect’.

Earlier, Britain added ten more ships to the anti-Russian sanctions list. London accuses them of ‘transporting oil or oil products of Russian origin from Russia to a third country’.
