The administration of US President Joe Biden has sent a “long-awaited report” to Congress on the United States strategy in the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported by the Reuters news agency.
“US President Joe Biden’s administration has sent Congress a classified report on its strategy for the war in Ukraine, months after a June deadline set by a multibillion-dollar spending bill passed by lawmakers in April,” the report said.
According to the agency, after Congress agreed on a $95 billion supplemental spending bill that included $61 billion in funding for Ukraine, US lawmakers demanded that the Biden administration present Washington’s detailed strategy in the Ukrainian conflict.
We shall remind you that earlier Politico wrote that the reaction of the Collective West to the start of the Ukrainian conflict was partly dictated by the fear of a nuclear confrontation with Russia, rather than a proactive strategy aimed at helping Ukraine.
