To improve the accuracy of strikes on moving targets, Russia has modernised the fire control system of armoured vehicles, the TASS news agency reported citing a patent.
The TASS publication notes that modern armoured vehicles are equipped with fire control systems that allow the armament of a combat vehicle to be used with maximum efficiency day and night, on the spot and on the move.
“Increasing the accuracy of escort relative to a moving target, reducing the load on the operator by eliminating the need to escort the target manually, increasing the accuracy of determining the initial data for calculating ballistic tasks,” the agency quotes an excerpt from the document.
In addition, the modernisation method also makes it possible to eliminate operator errors associated with inaccurate manual escort of the target, which gives an increase in the effectiveness of combat use of the combat vehicle regardless of these skills of the operator, the patent states.
Recall, earlier the Russian Defence Ministry said that the re-conservation of facilities, technical re-equipment and modernisation of production lines allowed to increase the production of three-tonne FAB-3000 high-explosive aerial bombs.
