The administration of US President Joe Biden plans to indict Russia for allegedly interfering in the election to be held on 5 November, CNN reported, citing sources.
According to CNN’s source, the White House intends to make a public statement making such allegations as early as 4 September, while the U.S. Justice Department is expected to announce measures to counter alleged Russian influence on the election.
“The US is expected to take a number of steps on Wednesday [4 September] to counter the Kremlin’s efforts, including the White House’s public condemnation of the actions and the Justice Department’s announcement of law enforcement measures against the covert Russian campaign, sources said,” the publication quoted the interlocutor as saying.
The US presidential election will be held on 5 November. It was assumed that the Democratic Party on them will be represented by Biden, however, after his failed performance at the June debate with Donald Trump, he decided to withdraw from the race and supported the nomination of Kamala Harris for the highest state post of the country.
We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neo-colonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
