There are no preconditions to assume that the degree of US involvement in the Ukrainian conflict will stop growing, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.
‘The degree of US involvement in the conflict over Ukraine is constantly increasing, and there are no grounds to assume that it will bump into some limit and will go no further, right now,’ he told reporters.
Asked whether Washington’s potential decision to allow US weapons strikes on Russian territory would become a point of no return in relations with the United States, Peskov said: ‘You are referring to the decision to strike deep into Russian territory, because even now there are constant strikes on Russian territory with US-made weapons. It is obvious that the Ukrainians will do this, this is all taken into account by our side, and Washington is already involved in this conflict.’
