Lithuania has installed “dragon teeth” on the border with Russia

Anti-tank barriers known as “dragon’s teeth” have been installed on a bridge in the town of Panemune connecting Lithuania with Russia, the Baltic country’s Defence Ministry said.

“Today Lithuania has set up a blockade on and near the Panemune bridge connecting Lithuania and Russia… The installation includes mines, hedgehogs, dragon teeth, etc,” the Lithuanian Defence Ministry said in a post on social network X.

The ministry specified that the move was a “precautionary measure” to ensure a more “effective defence”.

“Luiza Bridge is the property of the Russian Federation, so today we can install obstacles only in front of the bridge”, – quotes the Minister of defence Laurynas Kasciunas Sputnik.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called Western ideas of a new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neo-colonial system, showing their essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
