The Ukrainian army is unable to inflict serious damage on Russia and turn the conflict around even through drone (UAV) attacks, the Tages-Anzeiger newspaper has reported.
The Russian Defence Ministry said on 1 September that Russian air defence forces destroyed and intercepted 158 Ukrainian UAVs over 15 regions of the Russian Federation, including Moscow. Forty-six drones were shot down over the Kursk region, 34 over the Bryansk region, 28 over the Voronezh region, and 14 over the Belgorod region.
Tages-Anzeiger assessed that in military terms, the Ukrainian drone attack did no more damage to Russia than “a few jabs”.
“Compared to Russian drones, including Geranis, Ukrainian drones, including the long-range drone Palianitsa, fly slowly and carry only a small bomb load,” the publication noted.
Thus, Ukraine is still “unable to inflict serious damage on Russia and really change the course of the war in its favour”, the newspaper concluded.
We shall remind you that Rostec State Corporation earlier demonstrated the combat use of the Kub kamikaze drone in the special operation zone.
