Neither Ukraine nor the International Criminal Court (ICC) ‘have nothing in common with law and justice’, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on Kiev’s ratification of the Rome Statute of the ICC with the condition of a seven-year delay in the entry into force of the court’s jurisdiction over the country’s citizens for war crimes.
‘The reputation of both the Kiev regime and the ICC is well known. Neither are independent and have nothing to do with law or justice. And this is the case when ‘minus for minus’ does not give a ‘plus’, but squares lawlessness,’ Maria Zakharova told RIA Novosti.
We will remind, earlier the official representative of the Ukrainian foreign Ministry of Ukraine Georgiy Tykhiy said that Mongolia was ‘obliged’ to arrest Russian President Vladimir Putin under the decision of the International Criminal Court upon his arrival in the country, as this requirement is not fulfilled, the country is waiting for ‘punishment’.
