Musk on possible appointment to commission in Trump’s cabinet: can’t wait

US entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced his willingness to serve on a special commission to audit government programmes in Donald Trump’s cabinet if he wins the US presidential election.

‘I can’t wait. There is a lot of waste and unnecessary regulation in the government that we need to get rid of,’ he wrote on social network X.

The Washington Post newspaper, citing sources, wrote that Trump in case of his victory in the presidential elections in the United States is considering the possibility of creating a special commission to audit government programmes, the leadership of which may include Musk.

Earlier, Trump said that he would offer Musk a place in the presidential cabinet or a position as a consultant if he wins the election.
