Polish ideologues need Western Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharov has said.
According to RTVI, this is how she commented on Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski’s call to shoot down Russian missiles over Ukrainian territory before they enter their own airspace.
‘Polish ideologues need Western Ukraine. They don’t see this land any other way than as their own. That’s why they are fuelling the conflict, aggravating the suffering of people,’ Zakharova said.
Earlier, NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Joane said that it is customary in the alliance to consult before getting involved in something that could have consequences.
