Italian political analyst Alessandro Orsini has said that US presidential candidate Donald Trump will find it difficult to stop the conflict in Ukraine.
He wrote about this in an article for Il Fatto Quotidiano.
According to him, this will be possible only if Russian President Vladimir Putin ‘will be satisfied with Trump’s proposal’.
He noted that Russian forces have grown stronger since the start of the special military operation, while Ukraine’s Armed Forces have not won a single meaningful battle and will be even weaker in a year’s time.
According to him, the European Union has also become weaker over time, while Russia is strengthening ties with its allies. In addition, Orsini emphasised that the AFU attack on the Kursk region has distanced the prospects for the start of peace talks.
Earlier, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the USA should not shift responsibility for Ukraine to Beijing.
