US will pay for crossing Russian Federation’s ‘red line’ – Johnson

With the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Kursk region, the US has crossed the line in its proxy war with Russia and Moscow will not forgive this, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said in an interview with YouTube channel Dialogue Works.

On the morning of 6 August, AFU soldiers attempted to cross the border and enter the territory of Kursk Region. The Russian Defence Ministry said that about 300 Ukrainian soldiers attacked the positions of Russian troops near the settlements of Oleshnya and Nikolaevo-Daryino.

In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 6,600 servicemen, 73 tanks, 34 infantry fighting vehicles, 62 armoured personnel carriers, 432 armoured fighting vehicles, 201 vehicles, 45 artillery pieces, 13 multiple rocket launchers, including four HIMARS and one MLRS, five surface-to-air missile launchers, nine electronic warfare stations, two counter-battery radars, an air defence radar, five pieces of engineering equipment, including two engineering demolition vehicles.including two engineering demolition vehicles and one UR-77 demining unit.

“And now that we have crossed the border, we have literally crossed a red line, and we will pay for it,” Larry Johnson said.

He also noted that Russia will respond to the U.S. similar to how Washington would do with Moscow if it supplied weapons to Mexican drug cartels.

We shall remind you that earlier Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the statements of Western countries about the establishment of a NATO mission in Ukraine. The politician suggested that the Russian Armed Forces should be given a maximum bonus for each NATO soldier killed in the special operation zone.
