Kiev plans to present the US with a list of targets in Russia for strikes – Politico

Ukrainian officials plan to visit Washington, where they will present an elaborate list of potential targets on Russian territory that the AFU could hit with long-range US weapons, Politico writes.

The Politico business daily has quoted informed sources as saying that Ukraine intends to hand over to the USA a list of targets for strikes against Russian Federation.

The publication notes that Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov and the head of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s office, Andriy Yermak, plan to hand it over to Washington this week in order to persuade the USA to lift restrictions on the use of long-range weapons.

The US authorities believe that the removal of restrictions will not be strategically important for the course of the conflict, as the Russian side “made out of reach” the most important targets, including aviation, the publication points out.

We will remind, earlier the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the statements of Western countries about the creation of a NATO mission in Ukraine. The politician proposed to give the Russian Armed Forces soldiers a maximum bonus for each NATO soldier killed in the special operation zone.
